They are in the air, in the soil, in the water, in human and animal bodies, on all surfaces and objects we touch – everywhere.

Microorganisms are so small that we cannot see them, but we notice the impact on our well-being and health (both positive and negative).

bacteria

There is virtually no place on earth where bacteria are not found. These are the most ancient creatures on earth, which appeared about three and a half billion years ago.

Bacteria are simple single-celled microorganisms – the smallest creatures on Earth. Bacteria can survive in boiling geysers, acidic lakes, even in Antarctica. To do this, bacteria have learned to form spores – special forms that help them survive adverse conditions (low and high temperatures, disinfectants, antibiotics and other influences). Bacteria are very prolific: under favorable conditions, they can reproduce every twenty minutes.

Bacteria and humans are inextricably linked (+)

Bacteria are constantly present in the gut, on the surface of the skin and in the oral cavity. Figuratively speaking, the human bacterial flora is an additional organ in the processes of digestion and protection of the body against infections. The beneficial intestinal microflora (microbiome) performs many necessary functions for us: it supports digestion and assimilation of nutrients, protects against microbes and toxins, provides immune protection, synthesizes vitamins and participates in metabolism.

Pathogenic bacteria (-)

They represent less than 1%. Pathogenic bacteria enter the body by airborne droplets, through wounds and mucous membranes or the digestive tract, causing various bacterial infections: tonsillitis, otitis, food poisoning, tuberculosis. In the fight against microbes, natural and synthetic drugs (antibiotics) help a person.

Fungi

Fungi have a more complex structure and are among the most resistant microorganisms in our world – they only need moisture to grow and develop. According to the WHO, 1/5 of the world’s population suffers from fungal skin diseases.

Susceptibility to fungi is also affected by the uncontrolled use of antibiotics, antimicrobial agents.

This can cause the fungus to adapt and develop immunity to certain active ingredients in the preparations, making treatment ineffective and difficult.

Mushrooms are able to adapt perfectly – there are cases when they start eating drugs that were created to fight them 15-20 years ago. The use of all types of fungicides as fertilizers in the fields also increases the resistance of the fungus to treatment. Fungi mutate into more advanced forms. The fungus always feeds on what it has come across, destroys what it parasitizes on – skin, nails, hair, internal organs. The fungus creates its own habitat, adjusting the human body for itself. At the same time, healthy microflora is inhibited, mycotoxins are released. The body becomes easily accessible to foreign bacteria and viruses, a favorable environment for oncological diseases is created.

Viruses

Viruses are the smallest infectious agents. This life form is on the border between living and non-living.

They are similar to living organisms in that they have a set of genes and evolve through natural selection, as well as the ability to reproduce.

On the other hand, viruses lack the key properties of an organism: they do not have their own metabolism, they do not consume or excrete anything, they do not maintain the constancy of their internal environment – i.e. devoid of the cellular structure characteristic of all organisms on the planet. Viruses can only reproduce by invading a living cell.

Unlike bacteria, viruses are more picky. They do not multiply on artificial food media: ordinary meat broth, which is suitable for most bacteria, is not suitable for viruses. They need only living cells, and not any, but strictly defined ones.

Most viruses are pathogenic to humans, animals and plants and cause infections such as SARS, influenza, measles, chicken pox, hepatitis, poliomyelitis, rubella, herpes infections.

But the role of viruses is not always negative. For example, bacteriophage (“bacteria-eating”) viruses have long been used in medicine to diagnose and treat diseases caused by bacteria.

The immune system protects against all pathogens

Immunity (from the Latin immunitas – liberation, deliverance) – the body’s ability to recognize pathogens and fight them.

The immune system fights all pathogens and protects us from viruses, bacteria and fungi. Human immunity is a complex multi-level system.

First level of defense of the immune system

Тthese are the protective barriers of our skin and mucous membranes. On the lips there are a large number of antibodies that fight the bacteria and viruses that fall on them. A similar process takes place in other mucous membranes, for example in the intestine. This protection is immediate and mechanical.

The second level of defense of the immune system

If the virus is ingested, cellular immunity is activated.

Each cell of the body has its own immunity and is able to fight the virus locally. The cells of the immune system come to the rescue, preventing the spread of pathogens through the production of interferon.

Interferon is produced by the body in response to any challenge, whether it is a virus, microbe or cellular damage. The help of interferons for the body is extremely necessary, since the synthesis of antibodies in response to the introduction of infection is very late. Antibodies begin to be actively produced after a few days. At that time, the fight against infection is carried out by interferons. They begin to act from the first hours of the disease and their concentration progressively increases.

Самият интерферон няма ефект върху вирусите, но помага на клетките да се защитават активно от инфекция от вирусни частици. Дори една молекула интерферон е достатъчна за защита на всяка клетка, тъй като интерферонът има висока биологична активност.

Third level of protection of the immune system

The third level is the production of antibodies

If the local immunity cannot cope with the infection, the “heavy artillery” of B-lymphocytes is used. The body begins to produce antibodies – immunoglobulins, which clean the remnants of the virus and subsequently form an immune memory. This process is called an immune response and takes about 2 weeks. That is, if the virus “attacked” a person now, then the immune response will “arrive on time” in just two weeks.

Ако имунната система е отслабена, тогава тялото не може да се справи с атаката на патогени и ние се разболяваме.

Factors that weaken the immune system

Prolonged stress

The immune and nervous systems are closely related. Strong experiences lead to the release of stress hormones and weaken the immune system.

Lack of rest

Regular overload and sleep disturbance slow down the recovery process and the synthesis of joy hormones.

Repeated viral infections use up the immune system’s reserves and can lead to its failure.

Improper nutrition

Immunity depends on the work of the intestine: 80% of the “cells” of the immune system are located in it. Everything we eat either weakens or strengthens our immune system. Vegetables and fruits, plant foods should make up 50% of the diet.

Increased risk of disease

Most people are affected by the following factors:

33% of the world’s population is overweight (according to WHO);

86% are nutritionally deficient;

80% of people experience stress on a regular basis.

The risk of disease increases with:

traveling by public transport;

contact with an infected person or animal;

damage to the skin and mucous membranes;

poor hygiene.

In winter and during the transitional seasons, viruses are most active, so the immune system needs additional support.

dry air dries the skin and mucous membranes, reducing their barrier function;

at low humidity, viruses do not settle, but remain suspended in the air;

Vitamin D deficiency due to low solar activity also weakens the immune system.

Fitoviron

Fitoviron, a unique phytoconcentrate of valuable plant components to strengthen the body’s defenses, can handle seasonal support. 21 highly active extracts in the composition support the immune system and provide effective protection against pathogens.

Phytoviron activates all three levels of immune system protection:

Accelerates skin regeneration by maintaining its barrier function;

Prevents the penetration of pathogens and promotes the production of interferon;

Activates the synthesis of antibodies.

Detailed description of Phytoviron.

Take advantage of all the benefits Coral Club can bring you.
